msf_bench_boy_manEach year at this time, I begin to look forward to the opening of the Minnesota State Fair. Attractions such as the food, the animals and the Grandstand vendors provide memory making opportunities for Fairgoers young and old. The gates are scheduled to open on August 27th at 6:00 am.

halmaA scene that is part of many rural landscapes throughout our country that may conjure romantic fantasies of a distant history. These roadside relics, in my view, need to be remembered.
